A rapidly rising Lithuanian AI startup is capturing global attention with a major funding milestone that could reshape how large organisations adopt artificial intelligence. nexos.ai, an enterprise AI platform based in Vilnius, has successfully closed a €30 million Series A funding round, accelerating its mission to help companies around the world implement AI securely and at scale.

Founded in 2024 by Tomas Okmanas and Eimantas Sabaliauskas, the entrepreneurs behind the cybersecurity unicorn Nord Security, nexos.ai has emerged as a leading player in enterprise AI infrastructure. The company’s platform addresses some of the most persistent obstacles to meaningful AI adoption in large organisations, such as security risks, lack of governance, cost control, and fragmented implementation. By providing a unified solution that combines an AI Workspace for secure employee interaction with AI tools and an AI Gateway for developer orchestration, nexos.ai enables enterprises to integrate and manage over 200 AI models from a single control layer.

The €30 million Series A round was co‑led by Evantic Capital, a debut fund launched by a former partner at Sequoia Capital, and Index Ventures, a well‑established global investor with deep roots in technology and AI. Additional participation from investors such as Creandum, Dig Ventures and several prominent angel backers underscores broad confidence in the company’s vision and execution. The new capital will support expanded platform development, including advanced security features, private model deployment capabilities, and broader geographic expansion across Europe and North America.

Nexos.ai’s growth follows a successful initial seed funding round earlier in the year, and the speed of its progress, from launch to a substantial Series A, demonstrates intense market demand for solutions that enable organisations to unlock the value of AI without compromising control or safety. With many enterprises struggling with what has been called “Shadow AI,” where employees independently adopt AI tools without central oversight, nexos.ai’s platform offers a centralised, governed layer that helps organisations manage risk while empowering teams with AI‑driven productivity.

As enterprises increasingly prioritise AI adoption, nexos.ai is positioned to play a critical role in enabling secure, compliant and scalable integration of AI technologies. The company’s vision of an enterprise AI platform that combines usability with robust governance reflects a broader shift in the market, where leaders are seeking tools that deliver both innovation and operational clarity.
